Alcohol:
This week about alcohol. I learned that alcohol affects teenagers and adults differently. Alcohol can affect your decisions and your health. The lighter you are the faster the alcohol can enter your blood stream or BAC(Blood Alcohol Concentration. If you consume more than the amount of alcohol your body can handle then you'll get the depressant effect.

EXISTENTIALISM:
Existentialism is a philosophical attitude associated especially with Heidegger,
Jaspers ,Marcel, and Sartre, and opposed to rationalism and empiricism, that stresses
the individual's unique position as a self-determining agent responsible for the
authenticity of his or her choices.

Existentialism doesn't affect me because life is meaningless.

Game Journalism Day 3

My base:

In order to get your base started you will need a TON of wood planks, a TON of nails and a couple of cordages. Before you start setting up you should open a couple of loot boxes for nails and chop down 5-6 trees.

To build a base you will need a foundation, a couple walls and that electrical box thing. I don't have any strategies. The benefits of having a base is something to jump onto when running away from a bear or wolf.

Tree that gave 6 wood:

Game Journalism Day 2

The only thing I did right this game was kill a wolf. It took 7 rounds to kill it but it was worth it.(I think)
The only thing i did wrong was attempting to escape a wolf by climbing a rock....don't try this at home.

Some screenshots of the stuff:

Subsistence is a pretty good game in my opinion. Today we played for 45 minutes and I died 3 times.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Rush a foundation/platform ASAP
  • Don't climb mountains while running away from wolves
  • Don't start a camp on top of the mountains
  • Horde everything you can
  • Loot every chest
  • Stay away from bears&wolves

Game Journalism Day 1

A person's basic needs are:
  • Food
  • water
  • shelter
  • sleep
  • oxygen
The definition of the game means: the action or fact of maintaining or supporting oneself at a minimum level.

This game is a first person(you can also go into third person), survival, open-world, and sandbox type of game.

Here is a image of the game:
This game is still in early access. You're trying to survive from wildlife and AI Hunters who can also build bases.

This game is made by one sole developer that works at ColdGames.

ColdGames are the creators of Subsistence and this game is a project that the developer works on in his/her spare time. Here are two links if you're interested:

This game looks similar to rust which is also a  first person, survival, open-world, and sandbox game.

An "Early Access" game is an pre-alpha version of the game. That means it is a unfinished game that may or may not change.

A few features of the game are:
  • Singleplayer sandbox experience (the multiplayer component is in development)
  • World day-night cycle
  • System for inviting/removing players to access bases
  • Character hunger/thirst/strength mechanics
  • Temperature change based on time-of-day and altitude
You can get the full list of features here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/418030/#app_reviews_hash

Players can expect a few glitches/bugs here and there since the game is still in pre-alpha. Really hard for beginners and Animals are tanky so pick fights wisely.

The first thing you should do is place a Foundation for you to jump up to will prevent animals from killing you. They'll get bored and walk away.

JTN stands for the French word for "Jeton" which translates to tokens in english in the game Particle Clicker which you can try by clicking this link: http://particle-clicker.web.cern.ch/particle-clicker/. These tokens were used for their coffee machine.

I'm not good at anything in life, I am a disgrace to my family.

Khan Academy

Photoshop

This week we Photoshop'd a moon and animated it. We also animated a jelly fish. I had learned all the tools and short-cuts from last year soooo.....yeah. First you click on window-timeline-create video timeline then add keyframes. I wish my teacher knew how to play League of Legends.

Friday Post
This week we did coding on khanacademy.org. So far on this website I've made a couple drawings, coloring and animation. I have learnt many things like how to draw shapes and move things around. To draw a circle you type in: ellipse(x,y,0,0); and type the coordinates  in x and y and you type in the size you want your circle to be in the last 2 space. We also learned how to draw a rectangle: rect(x,y,width, height); and triangle: tri(x1,y1,x2,y2,x3,y3);. We used MediaCore capture to record our gifs. Coding with khanacademy is actually harder then I thought when I first started.

Friday Post

This week we made a new blog and Pivot. I didn't learn anything new this week. Pivot animator is a free and easy animating software. Pivot is a good stepping stone if you want to start animating. I would recommend Pivot to those who want to start animating.
